Our guest at this year's Regional Recharge Conference was Mike Bullmore. Mike brought us four sessions based on the topic, The Sufficiency of the Word in the Life of the Church. His approach was to demonstrate through Scripture that the Word of God is meant to function powerfully in the life of the church, forming His people and sculpting them into the image of His Son. Mike's teaching and encouragement truly was a recharge for us all as we headed into the busy Easter season. The main sessions and workshops are online on our Media page.
One of the highlights of the conference was the Eagle Award for Lifetime Achievement, presented to Don Perkins on Monday evening. Don's life and ministry are a testimony to pursuing the things of God whole-heartedly, and following wherever He calls.
As you know, each year we receive a special offering for one project; this year we received $5000.10 for church planters Jeremiah and Kathryn Thomas, planting Church of the City in Brampton. Thank you for your generosity, and for your support in seeing this church thrive.
During our conference we recognized the 10 new FEB Central churches in our Region this year. We also prayed over all our planters, praising God for the work that has been done and praying for the days ahead. We can only imagine the Kingdom Impact these churches and church leaders will have in reaching the lost in our Region. Let's continue to pray for them.
If you didn't get a chance to view the highlight videos from the conference, you can watch them on FEB Central's YouTube channel. I also want to draw your attention to two of our latest publications. They are available online for you to read, and to print and distribute to your Elder / Deacon team.
