Our New Home

We’re just six weeks into our new location here at Heritage College and Seminary and it already feels like home. I would readily agree with the comment that many are saying; ‘we should have done this years ago.’
There are so many benefits – let me highlight just a few.

Board Happenings

Tuesday October 18, 2011 the board of FEB Central gathered together for its 3rd annual day-long meeting. It was an exciting meeting given the nature of our discussions and our new venue. Heritage Seminary and College is now also the new home of FEB Central. What a historic event, brought together by the hand of God. If you haven't visited either Heritage or FEB Central in the past year, I invite you to do so - you will be pleasantly surprised!

Church Planting Thoughts

The generation born between 1980 and 2000 are called the Millennials. According to Thom S. Rainer and Jess W. Rainer, co-authors of the book “The Millennials,” this gerneration has surpassed the Baby Boomers as being both larger and more influential. The Millennials are highly motivated to serve society, and in a study that interviewed 1200 members of this generation, 96% believed that in their lifetime they would do something great.

Need Help Getting Started?

Heather McKenzie, Director of FEB Central’s Connected Women, had the opportunity to work with a local church recently that was looking for some assistance in getting started again with a women’s ministry. In June, Heather met with women from the church on a Saturday morning and facilitated a discussion around their interests and concerns within their church regarding women’s ministry.
