|On Saturday, June 8th, we had the privilege and honour of graduating 22 women from the Women’s Ministries Institute (WMI). Over a 9 month period, these women demonstrated commitment, perseverance, and the hard work necessary to be stretched and to reach new levels of spiritual growth. We rejoiced as we watched God do a work of transformation in their lives.
As we listened to two of our graduates share about God’s faithfulness in their lives, and the Class Valedictorian encourage her classmates to continue to “fan into flame the gift of God in them”, we were all inspired to continue to grow deeper in our spiritual journey for effective leadership.
One of our WMI graduates, Cyndi Desjardin-Wilkins, a quadruple amputee, was our guest speaker who blessed all of us with her remarkable devotion and steadfastness to the Lord in the midst all of life’s challenges.
The celebration concluded with a prayer of commissioning for our graduates and with great anticipation we will be watching them follow God’s leading in the next chapter of their lives.
